There is a destructive movement to keep fossil fuels in the ground.

“Stop digging. No exploration for new fossil fuels, no expansion of fossil fuel projects. We need to keep fossil fuels in the ground,” members of the anti-fossil fuel movement say.

Two prime examples of the success of this movement were the blockage of the Keystone and Dakota pipelines.
