Co Tenancy Agenda v2

Over the past few months, several articles have been published in the Charleston Gazette-Mail about the oil and natural gas industry that appear to be one-sided with an obvious anti-development bias. The articles, funded by ProPublica, never bother to highlight the many benefits the industry provides our state. While ProPublica’s publicly stated mission “to expose abuses of power and betrayals of the public trust ... using the moral force of investigative journalism to spur reform through the sustained spotlighting of wrongdoing” is a noble idea, it should also equip readers with all the facts on a given issue. It should not cherry-pick its facts and find quotes to fill in around a predetermined outcome.
