PUBLIC PERCEPTION & EDUCATION

West Virginians believe growing the state’s natural gas industry is important to creating more jobs and providing more tax revenue for important services.  A recent public opinion poll showcases the support that exists for this industry among West Virginians.

WVONGA’s public education initiative – Energize West Virginia - was developed to educate West Virginians on the benefits the industry provides our state AND to provide a voice to those that support the industry.

Inside Shale, a weekly one-hour radio show broadcast throughout the state,  highlights industry activities and issues in an informative and educational manner.  The program is facilitated by WVONGA.  For more information, or to listen to the program, click here.
