The West Virginia Oil and Natural Gas Association (WVONGA) is one of the oldest and deeply-rooted trade associations in the state.  This longevity reflects the critical role the industry has played in our state’s history, and also gives confidence to the vibrant future ahead of it.

Representing all facets of the industry – exploration, production, transportation and ancillary services – WVONGA is the authoritative voice on all things oil and natural gas.  The organization focuses on the objectives of membership support and networking, public education and awareness, and legislative/regulatory advocacy.

As president of WVONGA, I’m proud of the association’s work to promote the oil and natural gas industry, to advance energy initiatives and to create a network of driven, like-minded companies who proudly serve the Mountain State. Recent months have certainly been challenging for our industry, as we’ve worked to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic and economic adversity. Our communities, though, are strong, and that’s never been more apparent. Natural gas is an imperative part of our future, both as a state and as a nation.
