Travelers, in conjunction with the West Virginia Oil and Natural Gas Association (WVONGA), is pleased to announce a new oil & gas insurance program open to members of WVONGA. This program includes products and services designed to meet the unique and complex needs of oil and gas businesses.
In order to be eligible for the program, a WVONGA member must be in good standing with the association, as well as:
- Maintain a loss ratio of 55% (excluding one large loss in last 3 yrs.)
- Participate in one WVONGA/Travelers safety seminar annually
- Comply with Risk Control recommendations (consultant and policyholder will agree on strategy)
- Must fit Travelers desired classes of business
- Utilize contracts – IADC, MSA’s, JOA’s

- Control of Well Coverage – Offered on an admitted basis (where approved).
