The Bridgeport-based company provides professional, safety-oriented and cost-effective solutions for waste transportation and disposal needs. It serves customers in its home state plus Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, Virginia, New York and others.
The story, in the July/August 2010 issue of the publication, focuses on RET’s critical role in helping companies who drill for natural gas found in the Marcellus Shale formation that underlies West Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York, among other states.
As Jonathan Marks, president and owner of the firm, notes in the article, “We’re one of the only transporters who operate an office in this part of West Virginia, so we’re in a fantastic area to grow that operation.”
RET, which has grown from five employees to 52 since 2004, was named to the Inc. 500 list in 2009 because of its impressive growth. While accomplishing that, Marks has maintained a strong focus on customer service, including personnel and equipment that are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to assist customers who may have an emergency release or spill situation. Trained professionals in the Emergency Response Team quickly and effectively limit the impact of the situation, working closely with appropriate federal, state and local personnel.
Marks and his partners, Al Anderson and Claude Ryan IV, stress that their employees make all of RET’s success possible.
RET can handle just about any hazardous or non-hazardous waste transportation need, from bulk propane transportation and industrial vacuum services to frac tank and roll-off container services.
RET also can extract fluids from tanks, pits and other storage facilities, with industrial field services that include mud tanks, pits, rigs and hydro excavation.
